The Game

You took my innocence,
And smashed it against the wall.
You took my love,
And crushed it beneath your foot.

You broke me completely.
Shattered me beyond recognition.
Left me bleeding and hollow.
My pain was your joy.

My breakdown was your masterpiece.
Your art was my confusion.
Twisting life so much.
I could not tell were the lies began,

And the truth ended.
I’m so lost now,
I don’t know what to do.
You’ve come and gone.

Destroyed everything,
I ever knew.
And now you’ve moved on,
To start a new game,
With someone new.
